Meghan Markle Arrives At Chapel In Givenchy’s Pure White Ensemble, Designed by Clare Waight Keller
The Duchess of Sussex, Meghan chose her wedding dress by Givenchy, which was exclusively designed by the creative director of the house, Clare Waight Keller. The designer who worked on the dress with Meghan herself, was present with the bride on every step to assist her with the train and veil.
The ivory silk bridal ensemble was simple yet elegant. It was a formfitting dress with a drop waist, flat-bottomed neckline, and long sleeves. The dress was designed out of double bonded silk cady with seams that were placed very thoughtfully and thoroughly. Accompanied by a 16.5 feet embroidered veil and a beautiful tiara, the pure white gown made the bride look absolutely stunning.
The five-meter train of the dress kissed the flour, as the first black lady to wed in the Royals, moved her way down the aisle to marry the prince. The veil was made of silk tulle with embroidered flowers and intricate patterns in organza and silk thread.
Queen Mary’s Tiara Worn By Meghan Markle
The Duchess opted to wear Queen Mary’s filigree Tiara having a beautiful and mesmerizing center stone, borrowed from Her Majesty.
According to an official statement:
“The bandeau, which is made of diamonds and platinum, is formed as a flexible band of eleven sections, pierced with interlaced ovals and pavé set with large and small brilliant diamonds. The center is set with a detachable brooch of ten brilliant diamonds.”
The price of this beautiful wedding dress is still unknown. However, seeing that Kate’s wedding gown cost around four hundred thousands dollars, Meghan’s must be around the same amount.
We wish the newly wedded royal couple, a beautiful and happy life ahead. Love prevails!
