With the theme, “Heavenly Bodies: Fashion and Catholic Imaginations”, the most happening and fashionable evening of Met Gala 2018 occurred at May 07.
Met Gala is a fundraiser and annual opening party for the spring exhibition of New York’s Metropolitan Museum of Art. This exhibition will be open to the public from May 10- October 8, 2018.
This year, the invited celebrities mesmerized the beholders with their intricately embroidered garbs and ensembles. Here, in this article, we’ll be showing glimpses of these super stars on red carpet, accoutered magnificently.
Blake can easily be dubbed as “the best dressed” of the night. She wore a beautifully designed, Versace gown.
Priyanka didn’t disappoint any of her fans this year. The Bollywood actress was clad in Ralph Lauren’s creation of burgundy velvet gown with heavily beaded hood.
Lana Del Rey
This year, the singer arrived on the red carpet dressed in Gucci’s cream colored gown (which had a sacred chest piece with six daggers stuck in it) and blue winged head piece. She really outdid herself while paying homage to “Our Lady of Sorrows”.
My my! Doesn’t she look like a piece of art? Gigi walked the red carpet, wearing this Versace gown filled with artfully, stained glass window- inspired details.
With the help of 5 feet long wings, a golden mini dress by Versace and thigh- high boots, Katy Perry definitely managed to look angelic.
Inspired by choir robes of Holy Cardinals, Deepika sure looked stunning in her Prabal Gurung, off-shoulder red dress.
Rihanna, dressed in a pope-inspired silver embroidered garb and jeweled miter, looked completely attuned with the theme.
