The bewitching grey-eyed Bollywood goddess, Aishwarya Rai Bachan took over the red carpet at the 71st Cannes International Film Festival 2018. She wore an enchanting ensemble, a 3-meter train butterfly gown by a Dubai-based designer, Michael Cinco.

Made up of the finest mesh, this beautifully crafted butterfly gown has intricate threadwork in the shades of midnight blue, violet, and red with an enticing embellishment of Swarovski crystals and French palettes. The long train of this gown depicts a butterfly emerging from its chrysalis and metamorphosis. Cinco revealed that it took 3000 hours to finish this dress which means a non-stop working of craftsmen for straight 125 days.
“The gown was created to reflect the impalpable dream of a butterfly metamorphosis”, said Cinco.
“We worked closely with Aishwarya and her team for the perfect fit”, maintained Cinco.
The Rai Bachan diva left us stunned in this drop-dead gorgeous mermaid gown which perfectly complemented her figure, making her the star attraction of the night.
Like every other year, Mrs. Bachan has proved that no one can compete her at the red carpet.
No wonders the former Miss World has attended the Cannes film festival for the 17th time and wore the outfit by Michael Cinco for the second time in a row.
