Pakistan Fashion Week London 2018

Team Riwayat has yet again gone all out by organizing 13th edition of Pakistan Fashion Week at London. The week took place from 30 June to 1st July with an artful panache. Having boasted designers like Deepak Perwani, Maria. B, Zainab Chottani and suchlike previously, Adnan Ansari of Riwayat still seems to have a penchant for originality.

With many designers contending to be the best, our fashion industry is pushing boundaries of creativity and virtuosity through their well-thought themes. This year the schedule was filled with top-notch, known artists and newcomers alike.  At Park Lane Hotel, Hilton, models walked with a flourish dressed in the best and immaculate pieces of clothing from collections of Hassan Shehryar, Maheen Khan, Yatashi, Petals by Shanana, Mohsin Naveed Ranjha, Shazia Kiyani and many more.

Day 1: Grand Opening

The grand opening day 1 kicked off with the fashion show displaying a captivating assortment of Chirawan Lewis from JAL. The Thai designer had models walking on runway clad in majestic Thai garbs and costumes, mostly in blue and golden. In my opinion, it was an intriguing start of the most awaited fashion week.

Day 2: Matinee Catwalk

The second-day “Matinee Catwalk” featured many esteemed designers.

Sam Dada presented her collection “Ishq” at Pakistan Fashion Week London edition 13. It mostly featured short shirts with flared and bell bottom trousers in refreshing and chic colors of nude, lavender, teal, and others.

Yatashi mostly had kamees pajama on the collection. With a semi-formal look, the dresses seemed to be perfect wear for this season.

Day 2: Grand Finale

While the grand finale was concluded with an enthralling collection named “Muhabat Nama” by HSY.  The formal dresses, with intricate patterns embroidered in organza and zaree, were definitely eye-catching pieces with a capacity to have women exhausting their purses with a speed.

Don’t forget to tell us about your favorite designer’s collection in the comments!
